PREMIER Staff Group, on behalf of our client Aviapartner, a leading international ground handling company in the aviation industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated Controller to join their team in Bulgaria.
About the Role
As Controller, you will report directly to the Country Director and play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial performance and administrative processes of Aviapartner’s operations. You will be responsible for preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly management reports — ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses for management.
- Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and planned budgets.
- Ensure the integrity, consistency, and quality of financial data and reporting.
- Support profitability and cost analysis models.
- Conduct billing audits and reconciliations between management and legal reports.
- Participate in investment evaluations and ad hoc financial projects.
- Collaborate closely with central finance, local station teams, and management.
What We’re Looking For

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a Controller or in a similar role within a company managing budgets above €5 million.
Skills:

- Advanced analytical and controlling tools knowledge.
- Strong understanding of financial and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, and SAP or other ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Languages: Fluent English.
